Carbuncle 2

Okay well this is where I've been. Working, poorly in Maya 3D. After some awful trial and error on a mask that I will not publish to save you're weak eyes; I decided to go a bit simpler and make Carbuncle from Final Fantasy 8. At first I was going to do Miku but right now I am like FUDGE CLOTHES.
Anyways, problems I've had? UV's are a bitch and for some reason each time I'd switch over to binding skin or something else; the UV's of it's eyes and it's top spike would freak the hell out.
Any idea why?
Anyways, Carbuncle is NOT my original character. Thank Yoshitaka Amano and Square Soft/Enix for that.
